Many people avoid making decisions their whole lives, so
their decisive faculty, the faculty of discrimination, becomes rusty and dies. Such
people become totally dependent on others. When we study the four functions of
the mid – buddhi, the faculty of decisiveness; ego, the principle of identity,
chitta, the storehouse of impressions; and manas, the importer and exporter of
sensation and experience, the we become aware of the power of the will. Will power
is that something within us that comes out and says, “do this. It will be
helpful for you “ training the internal functions helps us to understand the
