Kimani Hunt, 19, a Dean’s list student at Davidson County community college, is a standout 6’5” player on the DCC Storm basketball team who serves as a role model both on and off the court. With a 3.7 grade point average for the fall 2010 semester and a cumulative total of 765 as of Feb. 18^th, Hunt’s academic excellence and athletic abilities draw attention. Recently, he caught the attention of recruiters from the University of Northwestern Ohio who offered him a full scholarship there to play basketball. Named to the first team all freshmen in 2009-2010., hunt served region x and district h championship teams, and he played with storm’s in last year’s national championship tournament.” Kimani hunt has been a leader for us the last few years, both on and off the court” Said DCCC storm head coach matt ridge
